At Vera's Bakery we offer a wide selection of handcrafted breads. Below is a list of breads that we have available.

Due to batch size limits we do not carry every item every day.

Rye Bread: (1 or 2 Pound loaves available)

Jewish Rye- Made with white rye flour sour. Rye offered with or without caraway seeds. From corned beef sandwiches to toast and everything in between
Pumpernickel- Dark German bread made with rye chop and molasses.

White Breads:

Hungarian White- Our most popular white bread. Comparable to an Italian or Vienna, egg-washed , no seeds. We are known for our 2 lb. loaf, but also make a 1 Lb. loaf.
Italian- 1 Lb. white with sesame seeds
Buttercrust- 1 Lb. Home-style white baked in a loaf pan. Crusty top with unsalted melted butter, soft on the inside.
Challah- Baked in a square pan, it is a two braid loaf with sweet egg dough.

Babka(Paska)- Depending on your nationality this bread goes by some different names. Braided round holiday bread with golden raisins, a sweet egg dough with subtle spices ( our family recipe ). Holidays only

Cinnamon raisin and Cinnamon no raisin: These hearty handcrafted breads have a large following. Great for toasting, french toast and breakfast casseroles. They are loaded with raisins and cinnamon , or no raisins if you prefer. Specialty bread offered on Friday and Saturday

Sourdough:

Frisco-Sour Dough in loaves. This bread is a perfect blend of a traditional sour dough and white bread. You get the great sour dough flavor with a longer shelf life.

French Breads:

Baguette- Thin and super crusty
French- Slighlty crusty and not so thin. Perfect for Bruschetta, any kind of sub (meatball) , french toast, or garlic bread.

Beer Breads:

Each beer bread is made with 12oz of beer per loaf

Blossom Breads: (Our Specialty)

All of our Crown Blossom Breads are made with real mayonnaise & real cheese.

Warm them in the oven, wrap in foil and put on the grill, or eat as they are.

The blossom breads were created by my late father in law.

These special bread is unique to our bakery.

Onion & Asiago ( The original)

Pepperoni Onion & Cheese- Pepperoni, onion and asiago cheese.

Artichoke, sweet red pepper and feta- Moist and delicious

Jalapeno Cheddar- Jalapenos, mild pepper rings and cheddar cheese

Olive & Cheese - Black olives and asiago cheese

Garlic Asiago- Chopped garlic and asiago
